Montgomery Hosts Free 'Tribute To Roy Orbison' Concert
Guitarist and vocalist Roy Orbison pays tribute to the late, great Roy Orbison with a free concert on April 14.

At 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 14, guitarist and vocalist Randy Walker will perform “A Tribute to Roy Orbison” in the board room at the Montgomery Village Hall, 200 N. River Street. The show will include performances of Orbison’s hit songs such as “Pretty Woman,” “In Dreams,” “Crying,” “You Got It” and many others.
Walker assumes the persona of Roy Orbison down to the black suit, hair and glasses and covers Orbison’s material from his early days at Sun Records to his last recordings in 1988.

“It’s an honor to be able to emulate such a great performer as Roy Orbison,” states Walker. “His voice quality is unmatched and he recorded some of the most memorable songs ever written.”
Walker is one of Chicagoland’s most versatile guitarists and vocalists and has been performing for audiences for over 40 years.

This free event is being offered by the Village of Montgomery. There is no charge and the building is handicapped accessible. The monthly Senior Lunch and activity will begin at 11:00 a.m. after the presentation. There is a $4 cost for the lunch and pre-registration is required.
