Montgomery Man Accused Of 'Surreptitious' Video Recording In Residence: Sheriff
Deputies received a report in March of "possible surreptitious video recording" in an Oswego Township residence, officials said.

MONTGOMERY, IL — A Montgomery man was taken into custody Thursday on 10 felony charges in connection with unauthorized video recordings, the Kendall County Sheriff's Office said Thursday.
Deputies launched an investigation after receiving a report March 22 of "possible surreptitious video recording" taking place in a residence in Oswego Township. Officials did not say what was being recorded.
The investigation resulted in the Kendall County State's Attorney's Office issuing an arrest warrant for Laureano I. Mora-Diaz, 37.

Deputies and members of the United States Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force served the warrant Thursday. Mora-Diaz, of the 0-100 block of Pembrooke Road in Montgomery, was charged with 10 counts of unauthorized recording or transmission of a proceeding/meeting without permission.
Mora-Diaz is in custody at the Kendall County jail as he awaits a court hearing Friday morning.
