Montgomery Village Seeks To Fill Plan Commission Vacancy
The Plan Commission needs a new member and the Village President is asking citizens to apply for the role.

MONTGOMERY, IL -- Village President Matt Brolley seeks a Montgomery resident to fill a vacant slot on the Montgomery Plan Commission. The purpose of the commission is to provide guidance to the Village Board on growth and development in Montgomery.
According to a press release, there are two requirements for the position. First, the citizen out attend monthly Plan Commission meetings, which are typically held at 7:00 p.m. on the first Thursday of every month. Secondly, the position requires attendance of Zoning Board of Appeals meetings, which are scheduled on an as-needed basis.
Brolly estimates that the position will require two hours attending meetings monthly. The position is open to residents of Montgomery.
