No Student Injuries Reported In Dist. 308 School Bus Accidents
Accidents happened on way to East View and Boulder Hill elementary schools on Monday morning.

Weather was a factor in two school bus accidents that occurred in Community Unit School Dist. 308 on Monday morning.
The first accident happened at Harvey and Wolf’s Crossing Roads. Bus number 202 en route to East View Elementary School was hit when a car slid into into it, school district officials said.
Transportation employees and the East View principal Janet DeMont went to accident scene. The bus was carrying seven students who were evaluated by paramedics at the scene. There were no injuries.

The second accident occurred at Orchard Road and Mayfield Drive in Montgomery. Bus number 9129 carrying 26 Boulder Hill Elementary School students was hit from behind by a car.
School district officials were immediately at the site and there were no injuries reported.

Boulder Hill and East View elementary school students on both buses have since arrived at school.
Police are investigating both accidents.
The district is also reporting that schools and administrative offices experiencing intermittent phone and Internet service due to a widespread Comcast outage.
