Oswego Man Charged With Sexually Abusing Teen

The 21-year-old allegedly abused the 14-year-old girl.

A 21-year-old Oswego man is charged with two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse after allegedly having sexual contact with a 14-year-old girl from Montgomery.

The Kendall County Sheriff's Office responded an initial complaint last July, alleging that Joshua Benjamin -- a "family acquaintance" had abused the girl.

Following an investigation, charges against Benjamin were approved by the Kendall County Sheriff's Office on Jan. 27, and he was taken into custody on Feb. 1 by members of the U.S. Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task force and transported to the Kendall County Jail, police said.

His bond is set at $25,000.
