Oswego School District Staffer Featured in Literary Magazine

Dr. Kellie Sanders featured in August issue of School Administrator magazine.

From www.oswego308.org:

Community Unit School District 308 Director of Professional Development and Training Dr. Kellie Sanders was recently featured in the “Why I Wrote this Book” section of the August 2014 issue of School Administrator magazine.

The magazine is distributed to roughly 20,000 individuals in school district administration nationally. Sanders co-authored the book The Courage to Grow: Leading With Intentionality with Kristine Servais, published in 2012. The magazine featured her explanation as to why she wrote the book:

“It’s been apparent to me that education leaders need more practical information and activities to strengthen their leadership competencies to assist teachers and others in the school community. The book helps leaders to construct their own learning, assess their growth, and improve personal performance…It’s an interactive text that should not be completed alone.”

Sander’s book is a resource for educational administrators, policymakers, teacher-leaders, aspiring leaders, and anyone interested in the complex and challenging relationship between leadership actions and organizational impact.

It is available new on Amazon for $27
