Pedestrian Hit By Car: Police Want Your Help

The victim was sent to the hospital with serious injuries. If you witnessed the crash, police want your phone call.

MONTGOMERY, IL — Montgomery police are asking the public's help in finding information on an incident Friday night, when a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle.

Soon before 9 p.m. Friday, police responded to Route 34 eastbound near Route 30. The Aurora Beacon News reported that the pedestrian sustained "serious injuries" and was transported to a nearby hospital.

Montgomery police want your help. Anybody who was in the area of the Ogden Falls shopping center, with views of the eastbound lanes of traffic near the Shell gas station, is urged to contact the police. Call Detective Sgt. Jeff Ricedorf at 630-897-8707, ext. 9058 with any information.
