Pedestrian Killed In Montgomery Crash

The man was killed while crossing the street in the 1300 block of Douglas Road.

MONTGOMERY, IL — A pedestrian was struck and killed while crossing the road in the 1300 block of Douglas Road at around 8:45 p.m. Wednesday, Montgomery police said. Police said the 59-year-old pedestrian was coming from a nearby mobile home community and had crossed in the middle of the block when he was struck by a 2015 Nissan sedan.

The man, who was from the Montgomery area, was taken to Rush-Copley Hospital in Aurora, where he later succumbed to his injuries, police said.
