Police, Fire Departments to Visit Montgomery Neighborhoods for National Night Out

Throughout the country, local police departments will be joining forces will local neighborhoods Aug. 2 for National Night Out, a crime and drug prevention event.

National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for and participation in local anti-crime efforts, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police community partnerships and send a message to criminals that neighborhoods are fighting back.

This year the Montgomery Police Department along with the Montgomery, Aurora Township, Oswego, Sugar Grove, and Bristol-Kendall Fire Departments will be visiting the following neighborhoods throughout the area.
