Register Now: Montgomery River Run 5K And 10K
Part of the proceeds go to benefit local organizations like the VFW and Rotary.
MONTGOMERY, IL — It's time to register for the 2017 Montgomery River Run 5K and 10K! Starting and ending in front of the village hall, the race is at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct 7.
The race is up and down the scenic Fox River, according to the registration website, on the Fox River Trail and village streets. Pets, kids and strollers are welcome to walk the 5K course.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Montgomery VFW Post 7452, the Montgomery Rotary and the Montgomery Foundation, according to Kendall County Now.

If you register before Tuesday, Oct. 3, you'll be able to pick up your race packet before race day. Register after, and you'll pick it up on race day.
