Retail Theft, DUI, Pellet Shot at Window: Montgomery Blotter

All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Sept. 16

Samantha Hering, 19, of the 100 block of Pine Ridge Drive, Oswego, was arrested for retail theft after an employee observed Hering walk out of the store without paying for items she had placed in her purse. The arrest occurred in the 2000 Block of Orchard Road.

Sept. 20

Resident reported someone shot a pellet at a window in the 1700 block of Douglas Road causing damage to the window.

Resident reported someone entered his unlocked vehicle in the 1200 block of Lebanon and stole a gold chain along with other miscellaneous items.

Sept. 22

Travaren Peoples, 24, of the 700 block of Redwood Drive, Aurora, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after police stopped his vehicle for speeding. The arrest occurred in the 800 block of Montgomery Rd.

Tajvon Jackson, 20, of the 900 block of Summerhill Drive in Aurora, was arrested for driving while license suspended after police stopped his vehicle for speeding. The arrest occurred at Rt. 30 and Rt. 31.

Derrius Silas, 27, of the 100 block of Sumner Ave. in Aurora, was arrested for driving while license suspended after police stopped his vehicle for improper lighting. The arrest occurred at Orchard Rd. and Rochester.

Sept. 23

Claudia Sanchez-Gomez, 21, of the 100 block of Ohio Street, Aurora, was arrested for driving while license suspended after police stopped her vehicle for failure to dim headlights. The arrest occurred in the 2000 block of Orchard Rd.

Sept. 25

Ontrayl Stewart, 28, of the 1000 block of Golden Oaks Parkway, Aurora, was arrested for driving while license revoked after police stopped his vehicle for loud muffler. The arrest occurred in the 1400 block of Douglas Rd.
