Resident reported someone threw a rock at the front window of her residence causing the window to break and damaging the screen.

Rodney Slaughter, 45, of the 200 Block of New York Street, Aurora, was arrested for retail theft after he attempted to walk out of the store without paying for items.

March 24

Victim reported she went into the business in the 2000 block of Orchard Road and when she returned to her vehicle she observed a dent on her vehicle.

Malcolm Washington, 23, of the 200 block of Springbrook Trail, Oswego, was arrested for driving while license suspended after police stopped his vehicle for driving without lights when required.

March 25

Jose Moreno, 34, of the 800 block of Talma, Aurora, was arrested for driving while license suspended after police were investigating an accident involving Moreno’s trailer.

March 27

Someone concealed several bottles of alcohol and walked out of the business without paying for the items.

Someone placed a wireless security system valued at $224 under his arm and walked out of the business without paying for the item.

Someone damaged the propane cage in front of the business located in the 2000 block of Orchard Road. Witness stated the suspect’s vehicle struck the cage and she left the scene.
