School District 308 to Host Teacher Job Fair

Potential teaching candidates for School District 308 will soon have an opportunity to meet face-to-face with district administrators, while at the same time sharpening their job-hunting skills.

A job fair for teaching candidates is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 21, at Plank Junior High School.

“The primary motivation for the event is to provide an opportunity for teacher candidates to learn firsthand what District 308 has to offer,” Assistant Director of Human Resources Tim Neubert said.

Registration for the event recently opened, and the district is hoping to attract many qualified applicants. Visit the district’s teacher career fair page on the human resources department section of the School District 308 website for more information and to register for the event. As part of the career fair, attendees will have an opportunity to participate in workshops on interviewing tips and resume-writing.

There is no cost for candidates to attend the event. Registration closes on Feb. 9. While registrations are preferred, walk-ins are welcome.
