Sen. Oberweis and Sen. Holmes to host free Senior Fair July 27 in Aurora
Senior citizens will have access to informational resources at a free event hosted by Sen. Oberweis and Sen. Holmes July 27 in Aurora.

SPRINGFIELD – Senior citizens will have access to a wide variety of informational resources provided by local and state groups at a free event being hosted July 27 in Aurora by State Sen. Jim Oberweis (R-Sugar Grove) and State Sen. Linda Holmes (D-Aurora).
The Senior Resource Fair is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to noon, July 27, at the Marmion Academy Battaglia Center, 1000 Butterfield Road in Aurora.
Representatives from several organization – such as AARP, Aurora Public Library, Costco, Fox Valley Park District, Heritage Woods Assisted Living, Northeast Illinois Agency on Aging, North Aurora Library, Presence Health, Secretary of State, Senior Services Association, Treasurer’s Office, VNA, Waubonsee Community College and many more – will be on hand to talk with senior citizens about the services they offer.
