Senator Oberweis supports annual 'Go Red Day' event at Capitol

SPRINGFIELD – State Sen. Jim Oberweis (R-Sugar Grove) joined with members of the Conference of Women Legislators (COWL) and other Illinois state officials to support the annual “Go Red Day” at the Illinois State Capitol Feb. 4.
The goal of the event is to spread awareness of heart disease in women and raise money for the Go Red for Women campaign. One in three women die of heart disease and stroke each year, according to the Go Red For Women Web site.
