Drivers Hospitalized After Montgomery Crash: Kane County Sheriff
Route 30 was closed between Orchard and Route 31.
MONTGOMERY, IL — Just before 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, the Kane County Sheriff’s Office said it was investigating a two-vehicle crash with injuries on Route 30 between Orchard Rd and Route 31 near Montgomery.
Although police initially described the crash as "serious," an updated press release said the drivers of both vehicles were taken to an area hospital but none of the injuries appeared serious.
Route 30 was completely closed between Orchard Road and Route 31 following the crash, but was being reopened by 5:45 p.m., police said.
