Aurora Men Charged In Connection With Kendall County Shooting
Police are still seeking information from the public in connection with the Jan. 26 shooting.

MONTGOMERY, IL — Kendall County Sheriff's deputies have arrested two Aurora men in connection with a report of multiple shots fired at a home Friday afternoon in the 0-99 block of Amesbury Road in unincorporated Montgomery. During the investigation, detectives executed search warrants at a home in the 1200 block of Pearl Street in Aurora and on a vehicle believed to have been involved in the incident, police said. The vehicle was tracked to the 1200 block of Fourth Street, according to the sheriff's office.
Deputies responded to the shots fired call at around 2:31 p.m. Friday. A spokeswoman for the sheriff's office said while no one was injured in the incident, gunfire did strike a home on the block.
During the searches, deputies seized three handguns and multiple rounds of ammunition from the home on Pearl Street, police said.

Kenzail Marshawn Taylor, 20, of the 400 block of Sherman Avenue, and Nikko Najee Muhammad, 19, of the 1300 block of Fourth Street, are charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm, according to police.
On Friday, police said they believed the shooting was a targeted incident.
