Take a Look at Montgomery's Crime Statistics

The FBI has recently released its 2014 crime statistics, as submitted by law enforcement agencies all over the country.

Within the statistics is the amount of certain crimes reported to local authorities

Montgomery, out of a population of 19,305, had 27 violent crimes, one murder and/or non-negligent manslaughter case, nine rapes, six robberies, 11 aggravated assaults, 254 property crimes, 36 burglaries, 209 larcenies, nine motor vehicle thefts and six reported instances of arson.

In 2013, Montgomery, out of a population of 19,259, had 18 violent crimes, zero murders and/or non-negligent manslaughter cases, six rapes, zero robberies, 12 aggravated assaults, 365 property crimes, 63 burglaries, 294 larcenies, eight motor vehicle thefts and two reported instances of arson.

In 2014, out of a population of 32,599, Oswego had 26 violent crimes, zero murders and/or non-negligent manslaughter cases, 11 rapes, three robberies, 12 aggravated assaults, 498 property crimes, 40 burglaries, 453 larcenies, five motor vehicle thefts and six reported instances of arson.

Yorkville, out of a population of 17,929, had nine violent crimes, zero murders and/or non-negligent manslaughter cases, five rapes, two robberies, two aggravated assaults, 166 property crimes, 23 burglaries, 136 larcenies, seven motor vehicle thefts and one reported instance of arson.
