Two Charged In Retail Theft Case: Montgomery Police Logs

MONTGOMERY, IL —

Retail theft

Montgomery Police Department said officers responded to a reported retail theft that took place at 1:14 p.m., Oct. 16 at a business in the 2000 block of Orchard Road. MPD said Susan M. Rodriguez, 33, and Albert L. Rodriguez, 33, both of the 500 block of Gates, Aurora, tried leaving the business without paying for merchandise, and were both issued a notice to appear in court in Aurora for retail theft charges. MPD said both were released from the scene with signature bond and a future court date.

Domestic battery

MPD said officers responded to the 3000 Block of Pecos Circle for a report of a domestic disturbance at 2:27 p.m., Oct. 16 between two members of the household. Police said officers learned when they arrived that Collin D. Morrow, 22, of Montgomery, battered another member of the household. Morrow was placed under arrest for domestic battery and was taken to Kendall County Jail where he will be held for bond call, police said.
