Vehicles Scratched, Theft: Montgomery Blotter
Incidents occurred between Jan. 5 and Jan. 11.

All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
Jan. 5
Resident reported someone had scratched the driver side of their 2015 Ford Fusion with an unknown object.

Jan. 6
Resident reported someone went into his unlocked 2001 Dodge Stratus and stole miscellaneous items from inside the vehicle.

Resident reported someone forced opened the door to his 2003 Nissan Maxima which was parked in the driveway and stole miscellaneous items from inside the vehicle.
Jan. 7
Natasha Mullen, 32, of the 200 block of Elm Street, Batavia, was arrested for driving while license revoked after police stopped her vehicle for failure to dim headlights. Mullen was also issued a citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
Resident reported someone damaged her 2009 Mercury Mariner by scratching the rear of her vehicle with an unknown object.
Jan. 8
Resident reported someone went into her unlocked 1999 Jeep Cherokee and stole miscellaneous items from inside the vehicle.
Alexander Gutierrez, 21, of the 2800 block of Heather Lane, Montgomery, was arrested for operating a vehicle when registration suspended for non-insurance. Gutierrez was also issued a citation for driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured vehicle.
Jan. 10
Angel Amwoza, 26, of the 1100 block of Mitchell Road, Aurora, was arrested on a warrant out of the Kane County Sheriff’s Office for aggravated battery.
Jan. 11
Juan Perales, 22, of the 1300 block of Pearl Street, Aurora, was arrested for driving while license suspended after police stopped his vehicle for expired registration.
