Warrant, Personal Injury Accident: Montgomery Blotter

Arrests and incidents occurred between Nov. 1 and Nov. 6.

All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Nov. 1

Brandon Serrano of the 1000 Block of 5th St, Aurora was arrested for driving while license suspended. He was also cited for having suspended registration and no insurance.

A 2007 Kia and a 2015 Jeep were involved in a property damage accident. No injuries were reported.

Nov. 2

It was reported that someone attempted to gain access to a business by cutting the fence. No entry was reported.

A 2005 Chevy and a 2006 Toyota were involved in a property damage accident. No injuries were reported.

It was reported that someone gained entry to a vehicle and stole (2) jackets and (1) walkie-talkie.

A 1997 Nissan and a 1992 Toyota were involved in a personal injury accident after it was reported the Nissan rear-ended the Toyota. The driver of the Toyota was treated and released on scene.

A 1999 Acura and a 1998 Toyota were involved in a property damage accident. No injuries were reported.

Nov. 3

Jake Van Powers of the 2600 Block of Avalon, Montgomery was arrested for driving while license suspended. He was also cited for no insurance and no rear registration light.

Nov. 4

Police responded for the property damage accident at Rt. 31 and Webster St. Once on-scene, no injuries were reported and no citations were issued.

Police responded to the area of Rt. 31 and Aucutt Rd. for the report of a vehicle vs. deer.

While conducting a traffic stop, Diandre Jeffries, 22, of the 400 block of Avon, Aurora, was identified as having a suspended driver’s license. He was taken into custody and issued two traffic citations.

Nov. 5

While conducting a traffic stop, a passenger identified as Jacquese Jackson, 23, 700 block of Inland Cir., Naperville, was arrested on a warrant out of DuPage County for driving while license suspended.

While conducting a traffic stop, James Parker, 35, of the 5300 block of Sun Meadow Dr., Plainfield, the driver was identified as having a revoked driver’s license. He was issued three citations and issued a court date.

Police responded to the 1100 block of W. Lake St. for the report of a personal injury accident. The driver was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries and issued a citation.

Police responded to the 2400 block of Mayfield Dr. for the report of a private property traffic accident. No injuries were reported.

Nov. 6

Police responded for a traffic accident in the area of Rt. 34 and Hill Ave. A Ford Fiesta had failed to reduce their speed in order to avoid an accident and the driver was cited.

Police responded to the area of Rt. 30 over Lake St. for the report of a vehicle accident. Police determined that a Cadillac DTS had struck the side of the bridge after experiencing some vehicle issues.
