1 Dead After 2-Car Crash In Naperville: Cops
The crash took place near the intersection of Washington Street and Naper Boulevard.

NAPERVILLE, IL — One person is dead after a two-car crash in Naperville Thursday morning. The crash, which happened near the intersection of Naper Boulevard and Washington Street, involved a 64-year-old Bolingbrook woman who was driving a Hyundai and a 61-year-old Lisle male who was driving a Nissan with a 59-year-old female passenger.
The crash took place around 8:45 a.m., according to a news release. Police say the initial investigation indicates that the Hyundai was traveling north in the southbound lanes of Naper Boulevard when it collided with the Nissan, which was traveling southbound.
The drivers and passenger were taken to a nearby hospital, where one of the people later died from their injuries. Police have not released the names of those involved in the crash.

After the crash, the area near Naper and Washington remained closed for nearly four hours as crews investigated the incident.
