1 Killed, 4 Injured When Car Hits Utility Pole In Aurora
Alcohol found in car at scene of early morning crash that killed a Chicago woman and injured four others, Aurora police say.

Alcohol may have been a factor in an early Saturday morning car crash that killed a 21-year-old Chicago woman and seriously injured her four passengers.
Aurora police said that the woman was driving a 2000 Chevrolet Malibu southbound on Farnsworth Avenue around 2:20 a.m. Saturday.
Police identified the deceased driver as Porce T. Robinson, 21, of the 1600 block of East 47th Place, Chicago.

Robinson lost control and flew off the roadway south of Front Street, hitting a utility pole on Grove Street. Two passengers were ejected from the car. It’s not yet clear if the women were wearing seat belts, police said.

Witnesses told police that the car was driving at a high rate of speed before when it hit the utility pole and snapped it about three feet from the ground.
Police said they found open alcohol inside the Malibu.
Robinson was pronounced dead at the scene. Her passengers include three Aurora woman, ages 23, 30 and 34, along with a 24-year-old Montgomery woman.
Three of the woman were taken to nearby Aurora hospitals, and the fourth was airlifted to a suburban hospital, police said.
Their conditions were not immediately available.
Farnsworth was closed Saturday between Front and Grove while Commonwealth Edison workers made repairs.
