15 District 204 Schools Ranked 'Exemplary' By State Board
See which of the district's schools were ranked exemplary on the Illinois State Board of Education's recent school report card.
NAPERVILLE, IL — Fifteen Indian Prairie School District 204 schools recently earned "exemplary" rankings on the Illinois State Board of Education's 2022 school report card.
The remaining schools in the district earned "commendable" rankings.

- Arlene Welch Elementary School
- Danielle-Joy Peterson Elementary School
- Fry Elementary School
- Gwendolyn Brooks Elementary School
- Mary Lou Cowlishaw Elementary School
- May Watts Elementary School
- Oliver Julian Kendall Elementary School
- Patterson Elementary School
- Peter M. Gombert Elementary School
- Robert Clow Elementary School
- Spring Brook Elementary School
- V. Blanche Graham Elementary School
- Wayne Builta Elementary School
In 2019, just 11 District 204 schools were ranked exemplary. This year, district officials cited student performance in English language arts, science and math as reasons for the high rankings.
Overall, District 204 schools had a 95 percent graduation rate, a 93 percent retention rate and a 16 percent rate of chronic absenteeism.

“These results reflect the hard work that our staff is doing daily serving our children and community,” District Superintendent Dr. Adrian Talley said in a news release.
Talley added, “We could not have these results without their dedication, commitment, and energy."
