17 Inpatients Hospitalized With Coronavirus At Edward Hospital
The new numbers are twice as high as those reported March 23.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Edward Hospital is treating 17 inpatients with confirmed cases of coronavirus as of Tuesday, according to an email from hospital spokesperson Keith Hartenberger. This is more than twice the number of coronavirus patients reported March 23, when the hospital was treating seven coronavirus inpatients.
The numbers reflect a notable decrease compared to the end of 2020. As of Dec. 28, 2020, Edward Hospital was treating 57 coronavirus inpatients.
Hartenberger added that no patients died from coronavirus within the past 24 hours. In total, Edward Hospital has seen 142 deaths from coronavirus.

Five coronavirus inpatients were discharged from Edward Hospital within the past 24 hours. Since March 24, 2020, 1,893 inpatients have been treated for coronavirus and discharged from Edward Hospital.
