2 Naperville Gas Stations Robbed At Gunpoint In 1 Weekend: Cops
The first armed robbery was reported early Saturday and the second was reported early Monday.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Police in Naperville are investigating a pair of armed robberies that took place over the weekend. The first armed robbery was reported early Saturday at a gas station in the 1900 block of Brookdale Road and the second armed robbery was reported early Monday at a gas station in the 3000 block of 111th Street.
According to police, Saturday's armed robbery took place just before 12:30 a.m. Police say two masked men entered the gas station carrying handguns and stole cash and cigarettes before fleeing in a black sedan.
The second armed robbery was reported at 3:20 a.m. Monday. According to police, three men came into the gas station and showed a handgun before demanding cash and "tobacco products." The men then fled the scene in a black four-door sedan, heading north on Route 59.

Police say they later caught up with the suspects' vehicle, but that it eluded them, fleeing east on I-88.
