NAPERVILLE, IL — A new season of “The Bachelorette” premiered this week, featuring 32 eligible men — including two from Naperville.

Mario Vassall and Termayne Harper are among the dozens of aspiring Romeos competing for the affections of Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia, both of whom were runner-ups in season 26 of “The Bachelor” and are continuing their search for love in season 19 of "The Bachelorette."

Vassall, a 31-year-old personal trainer who graduated from North Central College, got off to a good start during Monday's season premiere, receiving Windey’s first-impression rose at the end of the episode.
