21 Inpatients Hospitalized With Coronavirus At Edward Hospital

NAPERVILLE, IL — Edward Hospital is treating 21 inpatients with confirmed cases of coronavirus as of Tuesday, according to an email from hospital spokesperson Keith Hartenberger.

The numbers reflect a notable decrease compared to earlier this winter. As of Dec. 28, Edward Hospital was treating 57 coronavirus inpatients.

Hartenberger added that no patients died from coronavirus within the past 24 hours. In total, Edward Hospital has seen 141 deaths from coronavirus.

One coronavirus inpatients were discharged from Edward Hospital within the past 24 hours. Since March 24, 2020, 1,824 inpatients have been treated for coronavirus and discharged from Edward Hospital.
