3 Hurt, 1 Critically, In Multiple Car Crash In Naperville
Three people were hospitalized after a serious crash on Naperville-Plainfield Road Tuesday morning.
NAPERVILLE, IL — Three people were hurt, one critically, in a crash that involved several vehicles on Naperville-Plainfield Road early Tuesday.
Emergency responders were called to the scene at the intersection of Naperville-Plainfield and Leverenz Roads just before 7:30 a.m. for a report of a crash involving multiple cars.
According to a preliminary investigation, a 2015 Ford Escape was heading south on Naperville-Plainfield Road when it veered into northbound traffic and hit two cars. Police say other cars were damaged in the crash or hit by debris.

Three people involved in the crash were taken to hospitals nearby and police say one of the patients is in critical condition.
Plainfield-Naperville Road remained closed until nearly 1 p.m. as the Naperville Police Department's traffic unit worked to reconstruct the accident.
