3 Residents Displaced From Home After Ogden Avenue Fire

Fire officials say the blaze caused $25,000 in damage to an apartment building.

NAPERVILLE, IL — At least three residents were displaced from their home after a fire broke out in the closet of in an apartment building Tuesday afternoon.

Firefighters got to the scene in the 1100 block of west Ogden Ave. around 4:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they learned one adult and two children had gotten out of the affected second-floor unit safely. According to the Naperville Fire Department, it took roughly 10 minutes to put out the blaze.

The apartment was deemed uninhabitable and damages were estimated at $25,000.
