5 Naperville Police Officers Named 'Top Cops'
The honor comes after a DUI survey of more than 700 police departments.

Five Naperville police officers have received awards from the Alliance Against Intoxicated Motorists (AAIM), according to a release from the City of Naperville.
Officers Jason Woods, Bob Maloney, Kory McLaughlin, Sean Driscoll and Timothy Boogerd were honored as AAIM “Top Cops.”
Each year, AAIM conducts a DUI survey of more than 700 police departments and asks for each agency’s top DUI officers. Those officers then receive an award and recognition as one of AAIM’s “Top Cops.” This year, that honor was bestowed upon five Naperville officers.

“When I was sworn in as Chief of Police, I made a promise to ensure that Naperville not only maintained its reputation as one of the safest cities in the United States, but also improved upon that track record,” said Chief of Police Robert Marshall. “I take great pride in knowing that I have officers working with me who share this same passion.”
AAIM, which receives funding from the Illinois Department of Transportation, pledges to fight against the extremely preventable crime of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. With this award, AAIM is continuing to promote its campaign against impaired drivers while also recognizing these officers for their exceptional public service.
