The menu features such items as prime rib, sesame-seared tuna with seaweed, Mediterranean salmon, waffles and pineapple upside down cobbler.

Americans are projected to spend approximately $6.4 billion on special outings and meals this year, a figure surpassed only by the $7.5 billion expected expenditure on jewelry, according to the survey.
