6-Course Meal Paired With Wine To Benefit West Suburban Pantry

NAPERVILLE, IL — Indulge in six gourmet courses paired with wine and cocktails to benefit the West Suburban Community Pantry on Oct. 9 along Water Street. The third annual Long Table Dinner will also feature the music of Pete Ellman Trio.

“This is a unique party, with dishes that celebrate land and sea around the world, for a great cause, and we are proud to welcome everyone to celebrate cooler weather and the start of the harvest season," Nick Ryan of Marquette Companies, Developer of Water Street, said in a statement.

Ryan added, “Our chefs have taken great care to make this evening especially memorable. Helping feed area families who have struggled during these challenging times just makes the evening that much more special.”

Below is a sneak peek at the menu. Vegetarian options are available:

• Corn fritter epazote with smoked crema, parmesan and Thai pepper, paired with elote spritz cocktail
• Octopus and Spanish chorizo with fingerling potatoes, paired with Skouros Zoe Rose-agiorgitiko/moscofilero blend
• Autumn frisee salad with shaved tart apple, toasted sunflower seeds, Manchego match sticks, dry cranberry with barrel-aged cider vinaigrette, paired with Elements Twomey pinoit noir
• Albacore sashimi with Thai chimichurri, scallions, crab aioli, micro red shisho, accompanied by Folktale Aviary Cabernet via Blue Sushi Sake Grill
• Grilled skirt steak, roasted corn and poblano salad, chimichurri drizzle, rainbow microgreens, accompanied by 2019 Catena Malbec from Elements
• Totally Indulgent ice cream sandwich from en & Jerry’s Scoop Shop

Individual tickets are $195. Guests can register a table of eight for $1,495. Ticket sales end Oct. 1.
