NAPERVILLE, IL — An abortion rights rally will be held in Naperville Friday evening, with residents set to gather at 5:30 p.m. to speak out against the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade Friday morning.

The event, planned by the League of Women Voters Naperville, the American Association of University Women, the National Council of Jewish Women and Naperville NOW, was announced via Twitter shortly after the news of the Supreme Court's decision to overturn the landmark 1973 ruling was announced.

"We're mad as hell!!" the flier posted on AAUW Naperville's Twitter page read. "It is our body and our decision if we need or want an abortion!!!!"

Participants are encouraged to bring posters and share their personal abortion stories.
