NAPERVILLE, IL — Adoptions have opened for Naperville's Annual Riverwalk Duck Race. The race brings thousands of rubber ducks to the DuPage River on Aug. 14 to benefit the Naperville Riverwalk Foundation.
Residents can adopt a duck online, which gives you a duck to root for in the race and donates funds to the Riverwalk Foundation. When it comes to duck racing in Naperville, the competition can get pretty serious. Donors can adopt a single duck and rally for it or invest in a "duck army" of 250 rubbery racers.
