You know how sometimes your feet will accidentally touch someone else’s underneath a table? For one Aurora man, it’s not an accident.

Omar A. Carlton, 44, of the 1000 block of Fifth Avenue in Aurora, is what the Chicago Tribune refers to as a “serial foot fondler.”

Carlton was arrested Oct. 8 after allegedly caressing the feet of four women in Naperville’s North Central College’s Oesterle Library.

Naperville Police Commander Jason Arres told the Tribune that Carlton’s “bare foot made contact with the victims’ bare feet multiple times,” and occurred at different times and locations in the library. The women had taken off their shoes while studying at tables in the library, according to the Tribune.

But this isn’t the first time he’s fondled a female’s foot. In July 1996 he was arrested for crawling under a table and fondling a woman’s toes in the library of Moraine Valley Community College in Palos Hills.

In June 1999, Carlton placed his own bare feet on another woman’s bare feet, according to the Tribune.

In July 2006 at Naperville’s Public Library and again in March 2008 at Wheaton College’s Buswell Memorial Library, Carlton touched a woman’s bare feet with his own.

For this latest incident, Carlton was charged with 10 misdemeanor counts of battery, disorderly conduct, criminal trespass to a building and violation of bail bond.
