NAPERVILLE, IL — A car got detached from a tow truck and rolled into the corner of the Portillo's & Barnelli's in Naperville Friday evening.
Police were called to the restaurant at 1992 W. Jefferson Ave. just before 6:30 p.m. for a crash report. According to Commander Ricky Krakow, the detached vehicle "rolled slowly into the corner of the building." Minor damage was reported.
The driver of the tow truck was cited for improper towing, Krakow told Patch.
The incident comes after a driver plowed through the entrance of the Oswego Portillo's on Wednesday, killing a two-year-old and injuring 13 others.
