NAPERVILLE, IL — Guzman y Gomez, which opened its first U.S. location in Naperville in 2020, is set to open a second location in the city later this year. The spot is among three new Guzman y Gomez restaurants opening in the Chicago area in 2026 and 2027.
Naperville's second Guzman y Gomez restaurant will be located at 844 S. Rte. 59, according to an announcement from the company.
The original Guzman y Gomez in Naperville is located at 1519 N. Naper Blvd.
The menu at Guzman y Gomez serves up burritos, burrito bowls, tacos, nacho fries and other traditional Mexican cuisine made with no preservatives, no artificial flavors and colors and no items from the restaurant's list of unacceptable additives. For breakfast, diners can order such items as avocado toast and chorizo breakfast burritos paired with barista-made coffee.
Founded in 2006, Guzman y Gomez has over 130 locations worldwide, including restaurants in Japan, Singapore and Australia.
The other Chicagoland locations set to open within a year include two in the city. The first will open at 4711 N. Western this year and another will open at 925 W. Belmont in early 2027.
