Attic Fire Displaces Naperville Residents From Home

The fire broke out around 2:45 p.m. Sunday, according to the Naperville Fire Department.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville residents were displaced from their home after a fire broke out in its attic Sunday afternoon.

Firefighters were called to the home in the 800 block of Spring Creek Circle around 2:45 p.m. for a report of a fire. When they got to the scene, they saw smoke coming from the home's roof and identified an active fire in the attic.

All residents were able to escape the fire and no one was hurt in the blaze.

The fire resulted in $50,000 in damage to the home. The cause of the blaze is being investigated.
