NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville police will be out in full force Monday amid a planned "teen gathering," per a social media update from the Naperville Police Department (NPD).
The update said NPD welcomes "those who wish to gather lawfully and respectfully and enjoy our community."
They cautioned that there will be no tolerance for disorderly conduct, criminal activity or behavior that threatens public safety.
In April, four people were arrested amid a teen takeover in Naperville. Similar teen gatherings took place in Naperville last May, with hundreds of teens gathering —some charged with felonies— over a two-day period.
