NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville Planning and Zoning Commission members recently discussed a proposal to build 32 townhomes at 2255 Monarch Dr., according to Chicago Tribune.
M/I Homes, petitioners for the development, called NorthGate of Naperville, are proposing to build the townhomes on the vacant 25-acre lot on the I-88 corridor.
During the June 17 Planning and Zoning Commission meeting, staff member Anna Franco mentioned that the project does not align with the city's master plan, which designates the site as a regional center. Franco later raised concerns about the affordability of the proposed townhomes.
Other city staff and planning commission members expressed that the proposed NorthGate of Naperville townhomes would improve the area.
