NAPERVILLE, IL — Five Iron Golf is seeking a late-night liquor license permit for a concept restaurant and golf simulator venue at 47 E. Chicago Ave. in Naperville. The venue would be the company's first Illinois location outside of Chicago.
A late-night permit would allow Five Iron to stay open until 1 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. The city's liquor commission will review the request at its July 9 meeting.
According to city documents, the visitors can book time slots to play the golf simulations. Food and drinks, including alcoholic beverages, would be available for purchase.
The menu at Five Iron Golf features shareable appetizers, handhelds and brick oven-baked pizzas. The restaurant serves beer, wine, canned cocktails and mixed drinks. Their signature cocktails include a chili-infused mango heat margarita and the Elijah Craig Old Fashioned, made with small batch bourbon.
The concept golf simulation restaurant would occupy a 10,590 square foot space on the upper floor of 47 E. Chicago. Concept designs show 12 golf simulation rooms.
Five Iron Golf currently 42 locations throughout the United States, including locations in Chicago's Loop, River North, Lincoln Park and Bucktown neighborhoods.
