NAPERVILLE, IL — A fire broke out in the basement of a home on Cedarbrook Road Wednesday morning.
Firefighters arrived to the house in the 200 block of Cedarbrook just after 7:30 a.m. When they got to the scene, fire crews saw smoke coming from the front of the house and discovered the fire had not spread beyond the basement.
The fire caused $70,000 in damages and left the home uninhabitable. The cause of the blaze was deemed to be accidental.
