NAPERVILLE, IL — All lanes had reopened following a crash on I-88 near Eola Road as of 6:15 a.m. Wednesday, CBS News reported during a live broadcast.
The crash had closed all eastbound lanes for several hours, according to multiple reports.
On Facebook, WGN reporter Marcus Leshock said the crash involved two cars and took place overnight. Another WGN reporter, Bhrett Vickery posted on social media that there had been a car fire.
Patch did not receive an immediate response from Illinois State Police Wednesday morning.
