Investigation Underway After Shots Fired Incident In Naperville

NAPERVILLE, IL — An investigation is underway after shots were fired between two cars in Naperville Friday.

Police were called to the 600 block of South Route 59 around 9:20 p.m. Witnesses at the scene told officers two cars had been involved in the gunfire and fled the scene.

No injuries were reported and the suspect vehicles were located shortly after the incident.

According to Naperville police, detectives interviewed "several subjects believed to have been involved in the incident."

As of late Monday, no charges had been announced.
