Fire Causes $40K In Damage To Garage In Naperville

NAPERVILLE, IL — A fire caused $40,000 in damage to a detached garage in Naperville Wednesday afternoon.

Firefighters were called to the 30W000 block of Argyll Lane around 1:15 p.m. for a report of a fire. When they got to the scene, they saw smoke coming from the roof of the garage.

The fire was contained by 1:23 p.m., according to a news release from the Naperville Fire Department.

No one was hurt in the blaze, which did not cause damage to the site's home. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
