NAPERVILLE, IL — Starting Sept. 21, the DuPage Children's Museum (DCM) will host two weeks of Toddler Takeover activities during the weekdays.
Geared toward younger children, the Toddler Takeover days include story time, dino digs, sticker making and rides on the DCM Express Train PopUp.
Pediatricians from Duly Health & Care will be on hand to host story time at 10 a.m. on Sept. 23, Sept. 25, Sept. 30 and Oct. 2. They'll cover topics that include healthy hygiene and habits and being brave when you go to the doctor.
"Toddlers are incredible explorers. They're constantly testing, moving, repeating, experimenting, and figuring out what they can do," Cassie Coffey, Director of Playful Experiences at DuPage Children's Museum, said in a statement.
Coffey added, "Toddler Takeover gives them the time and space to follow that curiosity at their own pace, while giving caregivers a chance to see just how much learning can happen through play."
Toddler Takeover is included with admission to DCM.
