From Volley for the Cure
Naperville Central to Host Volley for the Cure event expects to raise $30,000 for Susan G Komen Foundation on Monday October 3rd.
The girls volleyball program is more than just a volleyball team. They are a group of dedicated community minded young women who have taken on the challenge of raising money for and awareness about a disease that has touched everyone in some way. Together with Wheaton Warrenville South High School, they are hosting the Volley for the Cure event on Monday October 3rd at Naperville Central High School.

“We are very excited about this years event,” says Central coach Brie Isaacson, “The entire program is getting involved by making raffle baskets, soliciting donation, or even making some baked goods for our bake sale. We are looking forward to a great night of volleyball with a very important purpose and hope the gym is packed!”
The evening will consist of raffle baskets, silent auction, a bake sale and many other activities.

“The Naperville community has been very generous to our girls as they have gone out and asked for donations and many businesses have offered gift certificates, dinners, or items we can raffle off” said Isaacson. “It really is a great opportunity for these young women to understand the importance of giving back to their community and I couldn’t be more proud of their efforts.”
