Attendees may pay by cash or check, and all trees purchased must be removed by noon. No commercial sales are allowed. Trees will be located inside the Public Works Service Center to avoid the public standing outside in the event of inclement weather. All trees available for purchase are container grown, so they are easier to transport than trees that are wrapped in burlap. Public Works employees will be on hand to help load trees into vehicles, and Morton Arboretum experts will be available to answer question, offer planting advice and distribute tree literature.
In addition to the tree sale, The Conservation Foundation will be fulfilling rain barrel orders, which must be purchased in advance of the event. To order a rain barrel, visit http://upcycle-products.com/static.asp?path=5231.
