Aurora Twins Mark Edward Hospital's 2,000th Set Of Multiples
Congratulations to the proud parents of Madison Josephine and Dylan Jeremiah.

NAPERVILLE, IL — When twins Madison Josephine Lange and Dylan Jeremiah Lange were born at Edward Hospital on Saturday, it was a first for their mother, Sarah Esche-Lange, 36, who suffers from endometriosis, but it was also a milestone for Edward Hospital. The twins, whose mother Esche-Lange and father, Erik Lange, 34 live in Aurora, are the 2,000th set of multiples born at Edward Hospital.
Their mom, who had been on bed rest since mid-July, began having contractions Thursday and was sent home. She returned Friday and delivered Madison at 2:19 a.m. Saturday and Dylan one minute later with the help of a delivery team that involved a team of four doctors, four nurses, and two surgical technicians, according to a press release from Edward Hospital.
Edward Hospital partnered with DuPage Neonatology Associates in 1996 and upgraded its Newborn Intensive Care Unit at that time to accommodate newborns who are extremely ill or fragile at birth. Since then, the team at Edward Hospital has delivered 1,931 sets of twins, 64 sets of triplets, four sets of quadruplets, and one set of quintuplets, which was the first delivered in DuPage County.
